DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) - City officials hope to attract more commercial traffic to a Compressed Natural Gas fueling station.
The station opened last fall.
The city showed how their refilling station works to a large number of city and county governments from across south Georgia on Wednesday.
The city's waste service has three of their trucks running off of CNG. A number of Douglas city vehicles, including five police cars do as well.
"We think the future is very bright, not only for our personal city fleet but also helping consumers and drivers that drive long-haul vehicles or short-haul vehicles also,"
