THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -  A Thomasville couple is celebrating their newly renovated home.

HGTV crews just completed filming a new series called "Saving America… One House at a Time."

Brandon and Ashley Godwin said they knew they would need help decorating when they purchased this fixer upper.

HGTV designers chose the couple for the show, and helped turn the old home into a new haven.

Brandon said the show allowed them to do something he couldn't handle himself.

“When you're young, you're on a budget.  You can only do so much.  So, by having HGTV come to town, they allowed us to do a whole package completion. There's very little, if anything, left to do,” said Brandon.

You'll have to wait for the show to air this summer to see how the inside looks post makeover.
