WORTH CO., GA (WALB) - Worth County fire crews were on the scene of a fire at a scrap metal business Monday evening.
The Worth County Fire Department has confirmed that crews responded around 6:30 p.m.
It took around 40 minutes to control the fire.
It happened at Automotive Core Supply at Pine Knoll were fire erupted near where automobiles are scrapped.
Twenty-two cars burned.
The Worth County Fire Department said there was a few employees on the scene, but no one was injured.
EMS was on the scene to monitor firefighters, because of the intense heat from the cars.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
