Commissioner Jon Howard says they're working on finding out who dumped trash and furniture on South Cason St.
He says folks can always take stuff to the landfill, or get in touch with public works to have materials picked.
Howard says it costs tax payers money to have illegal dump sites cleaned up.
“It cost everybody because you are doing unnecessary stuff from the crew at public works, when they have to get off their schedule and come and do something like this, it does not sit well with the department, and it does not sit well with me," says Albany Commissioner Jon Howard.
He says they're going through the materials and searching for contact information.
He says they've already found an address.
