BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) - The city of Bainbridge and Decatur county have finally resolved their issues with service delivery strategies.
The city council and county commission reached an agreement last night during a special called meeting.
The approved resolution is split into four exhibits, detailing which resources will be provided for city and county residents, and how they will be paid for.
"We've reached a fair agreement. I don't think there are any winners or losers. But there's not supposed to be. The winners are supposed to be the tax payers and I think that's what we have managed to accomplish," Chris Hobby, City Manager.
Hobby says the new service delivery agreement should be approved by the Department of Community Affairs some time next month.
