ALBANY, GA (WALB) - People working and visiting Albany's Corps Marine Logistics Base in March and April should expect changes in traffic flow.
Construction on the entrance and exit will begin March 22nd.
Incoming and outgoing traffic will be impacted and may have slight delays during the upgrading process.
More security personnel will be on hand to insure the safety of those living on and visiting the base until the project is complete.
"There will be about 30 days of construction, again to enhance security measures, but most importantly, it will enhance the ability for traffic flow," said Deputy Police Chief Sean Lamonzs
MCLB is asking all those entering the base to be mindful of the traffic changes and construction workers.
