MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Armed robbers ransack a Moultrie store in less than 30 seconds. It's one of two robberies Moultrie police are investigating. no arrests have been made.

Video shows robbers holding up clerks and customers. Police are now reminding citizens how to stay safe during a robbery.

Customers were pulling in to the Super Cee gas station in Moultrie, unaware of this robbery from last week. Three men held the clerk at gunpoint and ransack the cash register, getting more than $2,000 in cash.

The men then ran out through a pathway behind the store. "The whole things takes approximately 15 to 25 seconds," said Investigator David Jones with the Moultrie Police Department.

The holdup happened just after 8;00 while customers were in the store. Investigator Jones says it's important to comply with anything a robber says.

"It's not worth getting shot or getting hit with anything," said Investigator Jones.

Police are also investigating a robbery at a downtown Domino's that happened Monday night, this time by only one armed man.
He runs in and chases employees to the back of the store.

"He then goes back to the front of the business where the clerk was located to begin with. Before he exits, he turns back around and comes back and checks the cash drawer and then doesn't take anything," said Investigator Jones.

This robbery also happened around 8:00, and Investigator Jones asks for the public's help in catching these masked men. "If people see anything suspicious, anybody running around with a mask on their face, call the police and let us come check it out."

And always be aware of your surroundings. Investigator Jones says these two robberies don't appear to be connected. He encourages victims to call the police as quickly as they can and get the best description as possible.
