ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Some Dougherty County school bus drivers want the transportation director fired.
They said the system is more worried about monitoring them than making sure kids are behaving on buses.
A local pastor addressed the school board Monday on behalf of the drivers.
Last year, the system began using the Zonar system which tracks every bus to make sure drivers are following their routes and not billing the system for hours they don't really work.
But some drivers don't like that system and even Transportation Director Kenneth Williams to be fired.
"We feel that the director should be terminated," said Rev. Hurr.
Board members listened to the complaints Monday night, but did not address them.
