ALBANY, GA (WALB) - After a three month winter break, The Tift Park Community Returned today.
At least 40 vendors helped kick off the 2015 return. Organizers added antique dealers this year and continued with music, arts and crafts and non-profit organizations. One Albany man visiting for the first time says it's a great experience.
"There are vendors out, fruit vendors, perishables, vegetables,” said Sanford Hillsman. “The arts and crafts are just fantastic so it's a good outing for a Saturday morning for folk to come out and just enjoy the community. It's such a beautiful day."
Organizers have at least 100 more people who have sent in applications to be vendors. The market will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Saturday.
