CAIRO, GA (WALB) -
State Troopers believe distracted driving may have caused a crash that killed two men in Cairo.
Clifton Brock, 60, was driving with his brother-in-law Samuel Palmer, 65, on Georgia Highway 111 Thursday morning.
Troopers said Brock ran off the road and when he overcorrected, he lost control and drove into a ditch.
Georgia State Patrol Sergeant Tommy Peeples said, “The vehicle overturned a couple of times. The passenger of the vehicle was partially ejected and died on scene. The driver was transported to Archbold Memorial Hospital, where he died of his injuries at the hospital.”
