ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Ricky Randle plead guilty Friday to one count of child molestation, and one count of sexual exploitation of children in Dougherty County.
Dougherty District Attorney Greg Edwards says he was sentenced to five years in prison, which is added on to the 25 years he's already serving for a conviction in Mitchell County.
"In this instance the allegations were pretty egregious in Dougherty County. But they're even more egregious in Mitchell County and we're building upon the acts of the actions that were taken against him by our fellow judicial circuit," said Greg Edwards Dougherty D. A.
Randle will be on parole the rest of his life. He was arrested in 2009 during a joint investigation in Mitchell and Dougherty Counties after two girls claimed he molested them. Investigators found illegal pictures of children on his Blackberry.
He still faced a 100 count indictment on child molestation and child exploitation charges in Dougherty County.
Charges against Regena Jay, who was also named in the case, are still pending.
