THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Folks in Thomasville are donating to a good cause, one delicious meal at a time.
All day Thursday, several restaurants in town participated in Dine for Disaster Relief.
This is the first year the American Red Cross of South Georgia has held the fundraiser.
Each restaurant will donate a portion of the day's sales to the organization.
Active board member Mark Harmon said, “We want to make sure that we bring in all the dollars we can. And this is just one method of many to try to support the Red Cross. And dollars raised from this fundraiser stay in this chapter.”
The participating restaurants included Chop House, Grassroots Coffee, The Plaza, Liam's, The Scoop, and Bacchus Wine.
