More than 100 people showed up at Lake Blackshear Thursday hoping to get a summer job. The resort is hiring servers, dock hands, cooks and maintenance workers.
Job hunters filled out applications and interviewed during this job fair. Organizers say it was packed when the doors opened.
"Actually had people waiting on us this morning. We had about 15 people before it even started and since then we've had a steady flow coming in and out," said HR Director Rachel Griggs.
"Oh everybody need a job. I'm coming out here to work and go to school. Feel like this would be a good place to work," said job-hopefuly Royce Reeves.
Job seekers will find out next week if they get hired.
