ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany woman is indicted for the January murder of a Navy veteran.
31 year old Ashley Stroble was indicted for murder and aggravated assault in the January 16th death of 37-year-old Jimmie Fennell.
Investigators say the Navy veteran, who often ate and stayed at the Salvation Army, was found with his throat cut, in a house in the 300 block of West Tift Avenue.
Stroble's indictment was handled by a state appointed special prosecutor.
Fennell was Dougherty District Attorney Greg Edward's cousin, so his office has recused itself from the case.
