VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

VSU Police were trying to figure out Wednesday who robbed a student at gunpoint in the middle of campus.

Just before 9:45 Tuesday night, 18 year old Clayton Edward Berrang called campus police and said three men on bicycles robbed him at gunpoint on the pedestrian mall as he was heading away from Odum Library.

Berrang was not hurt. The suspects got away with $27 in cash, Berrang's iPhone, and his wallet.

Wednesday, police were looking at surveillance video from the area for any clues. "We're lookin' at all the surveillance system that we have. We're lookin' at that and tryin' to pinpoint anything that would help us in our investigation," said VSU Police Chief Oswell Armour.

Chief Armour said they only had a description of one of the suspects Wednesday. That suspect was described as a black man, around six feet tall, and weighing around 200 pounds.
