WORTH CO., GA (WALB) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is awaiting ballistic reports to determine which Worth County Sheriff's Deputy shot and killed an Alabama woman, following a high speed chase last

week.

In response to an open records request from WALB, the GBI says that deputies Andy Hamilton and Mike Haralson both fired their weapons at 34-year-old Crystal Miley Harry, Thursday afternoon Georgia Highway 133, between Albany and Doerun.

The shell casings, bullets, and other evidence is en route to the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta, where the results are expected sometime next week.

Worth County Sheriff Jeff Hobby said he would not release the name of that deputy, even though required by Georgia law to do so.

Deputy April Young attempted to pull over 37-year-old Phillip Kelley, who sped off. Harry was a passenger in his car, and officials say she pulled firearms on deputies.
