An Albany woman jumped out of a moving car to escape her ex-husband who police say kidnapped her.
38-year old Michael Thomas is charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, theft, and terrorist threats.
Police say about 7:45 Sunday night Thomas demanded money from Santamigo Thomas.
When she would not give him any, she says he choked her unconscious then drove away with her in her car.
Police say Ms. Thomas dove out of the car on North Slappey and ran to the McDonalds for help.
She was treated at the hospital and released.
