LESLIE, GA (WALB) - Authorities say a second body has been recovered at the scene of a house fire in Sumter County.
It happened at a home on R.W. Jones Road before 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Officials said the bodies of a man and a woman were found at the home.
The Sumter County Sheriff's Office was called to assist in the investigation because the death was ruled suspicious.
Americus Police were also called to the scene.
There was no word on what started the fire, but investigators said they were looking for a vehicle that was seen at the home around 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
Investigators said most of the fire damage was on one side of the house.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called to investigate as well.
