No bond for arson suspect

BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) - A woman suspected of setting a Bainbridge house on fire and then running away to Florida is now behind bars in Decatur County.

29-year-old Brandi Gaddis was denied bond Wednesday after the Decatur county Chief Magistrate Ralph Smith believed she was a flight-risk.

Gaddis is charged with first degree arson after allegedly setting a home on fire last August.

That fire severely injured a Bainbridge Public Safety Officer.

She will remain in jail until grand jury meets in May.
