Friends of former Worth County battalion chief holding fundraiser

SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) - Friends of a former Worth County battalion chief are holding a fundraiser to help him out. John Graddy was fired after the county commission said he abandoned his post while on duty.

Several of his friends are now selling Boston Butts to show their support. They're selling for $20 and will be passed out on March 26th and 27th at Jeffords Park.

"It'd help his family. This is a 100% donation, goes to him, his family, less the cost of the butts. Whatever the profit is, it all goes to him," said friend Mark Willis.

The money will be presented to Graddy on Friday, March 27th. You can order your boston butt by calling Mark Willis at 229-347-8178.
