SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) - A little Worth County boy is recovering from serious burns after a can of sealant exploded in an outdoor fire at his home.
6-year-old Waylon Amos went to his first doctor's visit Wednesday in Valdosta.
He had more surgery because initial skin grafts on his abdomen and hand were not working.
His father said Waylon is in good hands, and they're staying strong for him.
Doctors say it's not uncommon for skin grafts not to take the first time.
Waylon will go back in a week for another checkup.
