THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - The Thomas County Drug Squad Commander apologizes to his community and fellow officers, after being charged with DUI Saturday night.
A Thomasville police officer pulled Cmdr. Kevin Lee over around 11:45 that night. The incident report says that Lee was swerving several times on Remington Avenue. Lee tested .148 grams for blood-alcohol content.
"I put myself in a terrible situation. I made a very bad decision, which turned into a very bad mistake. I embarrassed myself, my family, my friends, my employment. I just want to ask the citizens of Thomas county for forgiveness," said Commander Kevin Lee.
Lee has been placed on suspension without pay.
