THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - A Thomas County man is behind bars after a meth lab bust Thursday morning.
Benjamin Tucker, 42, was arrested after narcotics agents found several components used to manufacture meth in a shed near his home.
Agents said Tucker tried to hide some of the drugs.
They said meth labs are extremely dangerous because of potential explosions.
Thomas County narcotics and Vice Division Commander Kevin Lee said, “It's very dangerous to us, it's very dangerous to them, it's very dangerous to the community. They're not using chemist lab beakers, or that sort of thing. They're using soft drink two liter bottles.”
Tucker is charged with possession of meth, unlawful possession of ephedrine, and obstruction.
