THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -  A former investment banker from Thomasville is now the founder and CEO of a new menswear brand gaining a lot of attention in the southeast.

TJ Callaway started Onward Reserve in Athens in 2012.

He opened stores in Atlanta, Charlotte, and his home town of Thomasville.

He said he wants his stores to maintain that small town, local feel.

Callaway said, “That's part of how I look at markets.  Who do I know there? And how can we make sure that we are perceived as an authentic part of that community and not just a store that's trying to open there?”

He said there are more openings to come, including a store in Washington, D.C. soon.
