Editorial: New Energy Plant

Editorial: New Energy Plant
It's great  news that Procter and Gamble and Constellation are building a Biomass renewable energy plant here.

The plant will increase P-and-G's use of renewable energy and help the company obtain 30 percent of its total energy from renewable sources in five years.

It will mean 500 construction jobs and between 50 and 75 permanent jobs.

We view this new plant as another P&G investment in our community and as a reflection that the company is committed to South Georgia.

 And that benefits us all.
