ALBANY, GA (WALB) - With more frigid weather on the way an Albany firewood salesman said he's having trouble keeping up with demand.
The owner of D & D Tree Service said he's selling an average of about four truckloads of wood a day.
He had to hire an extra worker to split wood on the weekends when they normally don't work.
He hasn't seen sales like this in years.
"Just as fast as we can split it it's already sold. I actually have people waiting on me to split some more especially with a late cold snap like it is," said David Edwards, tree service owner.
David Edwards said at this rate, he won't have any firewood left by the time spring rolls around.
