ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany Liberty Tax honored military members at their business Wednesday.
They held a "Muffins for Military" breakfast for any service men and women that wanted to stop by, as part of their Military appreciation week. They also collected cell phones to send to those serving overseas.
Employees say it's important they recognize the people who protect our country.
"We like to you know, show our appreciation to our military and because they work so hard to keep us safe and we certainly appreciate them," said Stephanie Gonzalez.
Liberty Tax also holds Police and Firemen appreciation weeks. They'll also be holding a "Muffins for Military" day in Tifton this week and a blood drive at Phoebe Tower Medical Group on Thursday.
