Jerri Jarrell says If I wanted to have a life not only for me but for my child I needed to finish I needed to push forward.

Jarrell became valedictorian and is working on her nursing degree. She received a 26 thousand 5 hundred dollar check from Devry University.

Both students encourage anyone in a difficult situation not to give up and seek the help that is available to people that want to go back to school.
