ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Dougherty County School Board approves a bid to build a Dental Office at an Albany school.
JVS and Associates will add a dental office to Turner Elementary School's healthcare clinic run by Albany Area Primary Healthcare.
The office will be built in the storage room in the school's new Art and Music wing.
"Basically we're going to create space in there where there is a waiting room and two individual dental clinics. Each one will have a chair and they've got a sink and a bass cabinet and everything they need. There will also be an X-Ray machine that goes between the two chairs that allows them to X-Ray from both chairs," Bob Fowler, Director of Facility Services Department.
They'll start construction in the next few weeks.
The office should be complete by the end of March.
