Families enjoy a night of dancing

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Families enjoyed a night of dancing at the Civic Center downtown.

Lots of mothers and sons, and father-daughter couples showed up, and dressed up for the evening.

The night included dinner from Chick-fil-A, and a trip to the "sweet bar."

There was also a professional photographer to take pictures of families.

Organizers say its great to watch everyone have a great time.

“It is such a heart warming feeling to see these families come in as a family, whether its a mother with a daughter. A father with a daughter and a son. Just to see how they respect the family aspect,” says Puddin Bass, with Girls Inc.

This year they opened the dance up for everyone including mothers and sons.
