New company helps Albany senior citizens

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - There's a new place caretakers can take loved ones for the day.

Innovative Senior Solutions is an adult day care and personal care home that just opened on Gillionville Road.

Two sisters, who are nurses started the company.

They said their first client was their grandmother who wanted to continue living at home.

"This is a safe environment for them to come for the day where they can get skilled nursing, nurses are on site, CNAs are on site,” said Jessica Wright, Innovative Senior Solutions.

"We want to make sure that every senior has the opportunity to stay home and in their community as long as possible, that's why we are here,” said Eshonda Blue, Innovative Senior Solutions.

The center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Seniors get medical and skilled care plus meals.
