ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Entrepreneurs brought their concerns about hurdles that can hurt small business to Albany city leaders Thursday night.
City leaders answered questions and shared information on topics ranging from permitting to how to keep track of a business budget Thursday night at this small business forum.
One former business owner says the city needs to get creative to find ways to lure new businesses downtown.
“To create some workable incentives to lure the people back into this area, and that could come in all types of ways. Business as usual is not working. We need to try a different approach,” Omar Salaam, Albany resident.
Salaam owned a clothing store downtown for 15 years and says he may open another business one day.
