ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A man indicted in an armed robbery case was found not guilty in an Albany court Thursday afternoon.
Torand Howard was found not guilty of armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Howard is the first of four defendants to be tried for the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in August of 2011.
The four were charged with robbing Willie Tift at an apartment on Moultrie Road.
Taiun Davis, Dontavious Calloway and James Tanner, Jr. are still waiting to stand trial in the case.
