VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - A weekend fire in Valdosta remained under investigation Monday evening.
The fire broke out in a restroom at H & H Auto Service at 1100 Madison Highway just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
Fire crews had the blaze under control within 20 minutes, but they had a hard time getting to the fire at first because of all of the cars around the business.
"Once we were able to get past the vehicles, we were able to do an aggressive attack on the fire, extinguish the fire," explained Valdosta Fire Chief Freddie Broome. "We did a primary and secondary search and it was all clear, no one was inside the business."
The fire caused around $12,000 in damage.
