VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Vendors were still needed Thursday for Valdosta's annual Azalea Festival.
As of Thursday, the festival was scheduled to take place March 14th and 15th at Drexel Park. It is the city's biggest festival and typically attracts thousands of people from all across the Southeast.
Around 100 vendors had signed up as of Thursday, but the festival's executive director, Aaron Strickland, said they were looking for about 60 more.
"We are still accepting vendors and we're also accepting sponsors at this time," said Strickland. "There are different levels of sponsorship for the festival. You can donate $5 or you can donate $5,000."
