BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -  A suspect wanted for armed robbery is behind bars in Decatur County.

Walter Barden, 25, was arrested by Colquitt County Sheriff's Office investigators for violating his parole.

Public Safety officers transported Barden back to Bainbridge where investigators have been trying to find him for more than a month.

Captain Mark Esquivel said, “We were worried that if he was in Moultrie, Moultrie might see some of these armed robberies. Luckily they haven't, they didn't, and they were able to locate him on Monday.”

Officers believe Barden robbed a Dollar Store at gunpoint back in December.
