TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Friends of Jeremiah and Nehemiah Walker, who died in a Tifton house fire on Friday, are trying to help the family lay them to rest.
Several teachers at Annie Belle Clark Primary school put together a go fund me account for the family.
They hope to raise enough money to cover funerals for both boys.
Teachers said the brothers were always playful and loving, and they just want to share that love in return.
"Our total is around 33, 34-hundred dollars and our goal is around $10,000," Teacher Tracy Bailey said. "So, it's been up around 18 hours. So, we're very hopeful."
The boys' mom Tangerla and sister Florissa survived the fire, but lost everything.
If the fund exceeds its goal, any extra money will go toward helping them get back on their feet.
