Surveillance released in Sylvester Subway robbery

SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) -

Investigators are asking the public for help in finding two suspects who were seen robbing a Subway in Sylvester on Friday.

The two men were seen on surveillance video around 9:15 p.m., carrying weapons. One of the men was carrying a pistol, and the other held a rifle.

Police said they got away with $200 from the register and $21 from a family eating inside the store.

"There was a family of three sitting at the restaurant at the time. Also was a victim of the robbery. And they took 21 dollars in cash from them, " said Lt. Kenneth Washington.
