BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) - One of two young car break-in suspects caught in a neighborhood by Bainbridge Public Safety officers is in jail.
Akeem Miller, 17, is charged with five counts of entering auto.
Officers recovered a watch, a radio, and several bags of diabetic medication.
They also arrested a juvenile and released him to his parents.
Investigator Chip Nix said, “The criminal element in the street has learned that unlocked vehicles are an easy target and that's just what they've all started going after.”
Nix said drivers should park their cars close to their homes, keep valuables out of sight, and lock their doors.
