ALBANY, GA (WALB) - AT&T cut the ribbon on its new Albany retail store on Friday, at 11:00 AM.
The former Alltel store at 2700 Dawson Road at the corner of Westover Boulevard and Dawson Road is across from the Olive Garden restaurant.
The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce conducted the ribbon-cutting with AT&T staff and State Representative Gerald Greene.
AT&T Regional Director Courtney Brinson and Regional retail Director Chip Lacorte gave a tour of what is called a prototype store.
"We will sit down and talk with them and tailor a specific solution for them. But everything they need to know to make a decision to answer their needs is in this store," said Brinson.
Officials said the new store is set up with customer service in mind, and said they are investing in the community with their new facility.
