ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Thursday night at Albany Civil Rights Institute, Superintendent David Mosely and other school officials fielded questions about where the district stands and where it is headed.
They focused on new technology and the one-to-one initiative that will eventually provide a free tablet to every student in the system.
"Anything that we can do to help enhance the opportunity for children we need to take advantage of that," Mosely said. "But there's no substitute for classroom teaching.
Mosely says the district still plans to distribute the tablets soon.
