THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - Thomas County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man after investigators said neighbors spotted him peeping through the windows of their homes.
William Newsome, 17, is now facing peeping tom charges.
Neighbors told investigators they found their own ladders and buckets underneath their windows, which led them to believe someone was trying to look inside.
Lieutenant Tim Watkins with the Thomas County Sheriff's Office said, “Peeping toms are usually the one case that normally scares law enforcement because they normally progress to something a lot more serious. Peeping toms historically turn into rapists. “
Newsome bonded out last week, but was picked up on disorderly conduct charges and remains in jail.
