LOWNDES CO., GA (WALB) - The Lowndes County Fire Department was investigating a minor house fire in the North part of the county Tuesday.
The fire started near the air conditioning unit at 4015 Foxridge Lane around 4:15 p.m. Monday.
The house has been empty for a while and was undergoing some renovation work at the time of the fire, but the fire department does not believe the fire is suspicious. An exact cause of the fire had not been as of Tuesday morning.
Damage was estimated Tuesday at approximately $2,500.
