ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Hundreds of children learned about the dangers of drugs today, while also getting a little exercise.
The Stardust Skate Center held their 'Just Say No to Drugs' skate on Monday, MLK Day.
The Dougherty County Sheriff's office set up drug boards to help raise awareness about the dangers of drugs.
Sheriff's Lt. Terron Hayes said, "The kids come up to us and talk to us about the different drugs and have questions about the different drugs that are on display. And we're able to give them pamphlets or information and just the first hand experience of the dangers of those drugs."
This event has been held every year for more than 20 years.
