ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Technical College is teaming up with area high schools to make sure students know what they offer.
High school counselors, education directors, and other officials toured Albany Tech's campus and labs for their Education Partnership Day Friday.
They're gathering information to share with high school students about various opportunities available at Albany Tech throughout high school and beyond.
"We have first-hand information so that when we're sharing with the students what they will be experiencing here, that it doesn't come as a surprise and it gives them some information to make informed decisions about which programs they want to be in," said Monroe High School counselor Vicki Lewis.
High school students have a chance to dual enroll, which allows them to earn college credits.
Counselors hope this can help make smart decisions about their post secondary education.
