THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - A man is in the Thomas county jail after officers said he sold meth to an undercover agent.
Donnie Ray Herndon, 27, is charged with sale of meth and possession with the intent to distribute.
Agents said he sold ice, which is a more pure form of the drug.
Thomas County Narcotics Agents found even more drugs on Herndon after pulling him over.
Commander Kevin Lee said, “Mr. Herndon had a black-zippered pouch in his lap. When he was removed from the vehicle, it fell to the ground. It contained more ice, a small quantity of marijuana, a pill of oxycodone, and some smoking devices.”
Lee said meth has become a bigger problem than cocaine in Thomas county.
