Town hall meetings set for Vets at Dublin VA

DUBLIN, GA (WALB) - The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center is scheduling a series of town hall meetings for veterans, their families, and other stakeholders  to get feedback on how the medical center can better meet veterans' needs. The hearing dates are March 26, June 25, and September 24.

“The best way to know how to serve veterans and their families is to ask them,” said spokesperson Dr. Frank G. Jordan Jr. “And the more advanced notice to them about town halls, the better the participation. That's why we are announcing town hall dates for the entire year.”

The quarterly town hall meetings are some of many the VA is holding around the country to provide local veterans an open forum and for VA officials to hear directly from beneficiaries as to what the agency can do better.

All Dublin VA town hall meetings will be in the medical center's auditorium on the second floor of Building 2 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. The meetings are open to all interested in veterans' needs and parking will be available.
