CAMILLA, GA (WALB) - A Camilla man convicted of murder was sentenced to life in prison, without parole.
Samuel Stork, 22, fired eight shots, hitting 21-year-old Rodney Pate in the upper torso last year near an apartment complex on Shivers Alley.
Witnesses told investigators the two had an argument, Stork left, then came back and shot Pate.
"I told everybody to move. Then I heard the gunshots. I just stood there in shock. And he just kept shooting. Then he turned around and left," said Adarrius Keaton, who was friends with Pate and witnessed the shooting.
Stork ran off after the shooting and was arrested several hours later.
