AAAC collecting 400 bowls for empty bowls lunch

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Area Arts Council is collecting 400 handmade bowls from Columbus, Macon, Valdosta and several Albany potters to sell at the 4th annual empty bowl fundraiser.

Proceeds benefit the Arts Council and Meals on Wheels.

"There is a real community ownership for the event so it sort of drives itself. I'm just excited to see how much fun everybody has and how much good we can do,” said Nicole Williams, Arts Council.

The empty bowls lunch is Wednesday January 21st at the Albany Civic Center from 11 to 1.
