ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The goal to build Megan's House Dream House is getting closer to reality.
Pfizer representatives James Donovan and Stephen Hrynkiewicz donated $2500 to Easter Seals Southern Georgia to build a new Megan's House in Albany.
The current Megan's House opened ten years ago and offers families help in caring for children with developmental disabilities.
The new house will double the amount of children the center can help.
Wilson "The needs of families in the area we are just not able to meet all the needs. We need to have a larger location so we can more adequately serve the people."
An anonymous donor is pledging to donate half of the $500,000 cost to build the new Megan's House.
Easter Seals Southern Georgia needs another $70,000 to reach the $250,000.
